Job Overview Understand project work and priorities from R&D Manager, convey them to all teams and work closely with them (Fermentation team & teams working on different projects), discuss data, reports, roadblocks with teams. Present and discuss data, reports, roadblocks with R&D manager and implement solutions with team members
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Discuss with Manager to understand work and priorities for all teams
  • Covey respective responsibilities and work priorities to different teams working in lab (Fermentation team & teams working on different projects)
  • Overview all lab activities
  • Discuss with team members data generated and make reports
  • Discuss with team members in case of any road blocks and solve them
  • Give guidance to team members
  • Can be involved in some critical wet lab work
  • Discuss with manager data, reports, road blocks solved & unsolved, come to conclusions and implement the way ahead with all team members
  • Oversee Data management
  • Work closely with Kaizen leader for smooth implementation and working of kaizen activities
  • Overview and coordinate with purchase requirements of chemicals and other RM
 
Soft Skills
Good knowhow of Microsoft office, knowledge of bioinformatics will be useful
 
Specific Skills Excellent communication, ability to oversee team of 10-12 people, technically sound, proactive, sincere
Experience 7-8 years experience in microbiology lab and experience of handling fermenters (R&D)
Education Qualification
Masters in Microbiology/Biotechnology

Job Overview  Analyst
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Analytical skills (QC check of RM & finished products globally, Enzyme analysis of samples, Stability analysis of samples, Enzyme fingerprinting) 
2. Reference & control materials, Method development studies - Writing & updating methods, Calibration of equipments /instruments & record maintenance.)
 3. Enzyme analytical Knowledge
 4. Knowledge of GLP/GMP/ safety requirements 
5. Basic Computer skills & should be well versed with MS office.
 6. Perform analytical duties right-first time in order to complete work within the budgeted resource and in line with agreed timelines
7. Prepare, review and approve data and documents accurately and efficiently, in-line with the Quality Unit’s procedures culture of Right-First Time
8. Be responsible for the generation and adherence to analytical documents (e.g. methods, specifications, SOPs etc.).
